Coffee Fights Cellulite - September 30th, 2009

There have been advertisements up in every major coffee organization and all over the internet saying that coffee fights cellulite. But the question becomes is it true? I mean the milk companies tell us that milk is not harmful and doesn’t cause acne, doesn’t even cause serious problems for people who are allergic as long as you only drink 8oz per day. But realistically speaking, while that may be true on some level, obviously it’s not true in the way we would like it to be. So what’s the truth here, does cellulite actually respond to coffee?

The simple answer is yes. Basically speaking, cellulite is caused by a buildup of fat under the skin, and the skin is somewhat weakened. Coffee addresses that problem. It wakes up the skin. Now granted, you need to remember that in order to get these results, you won’t actually be drinking coffee. You will be using coffee and its antioxidants and caffeine in a scrub on the outside.

This scrub will of course naturally exfoliate the skin, exfoliating away dead skin cells. It will wake up the skin with the caffeine and it will fight off harmful free radicals with its antioxidants, which also makes it good for the skin in general and wrinkle prevention in general terms. So it’s not a bad deal at all to say the least.

This being said, you can’t count on extreme results with coffee. The results will be gradual, small, you get the idea. However, if you use coffee properly and use it in the right scrub, you will definitely be able to fight your wrinkles, and yes coffee fights cellulite.
